I had small issues sometimes with my gopro, even had a replacement, cause it got some smoke from the inside, but this conversation of gopro replacement it's been out for years, and in the end most of the vlogers return to gopro, i hope this is not the case, and finally there could be some alternatives. BTW before my last gopro i had a bad experience with insta 360, they wait for the last day that paypal gave them, to refund me, and before that you can't imagine how their costumer service tried to stall me, they even said they last all my emails... this with a insta 360 one rs

Ian, this or the 2024 Africa Twin AS for 80/20 road to offroad bias? They are similar in price. AT gets electronic suspension and a few other niceties the Tiger doesnt (but vice versa applies as well). Thoughts?

I almost pulled the trigger on a new KLR650S today but this Vstrom has me very interested, looking at a used 2019 right now. I mostly do dirt roads and 2 track paved roads, is the Vstrom still a bettter choice than the KLR?

Here in SW Florida, to say it's hot is an understatement. Picture putting your head in a 200 degree oven and turning a blow dryer on high. That's what it feels like to ride in the summer here. Looking at gear and coming to the realization that there is no gear for this type of environment. But, still considering the Klim Baja, at least the pants for now. No way I can wear a jacket in this heat. Protective shirt and jersey at the most. Thanks for all you do, like the advice.

It's interesting to see reviews of the Monkey done by average-sized American men. Your take on the Monkey is much different than mine.... I'm tiny like the Monkey so it feels like a full sized bike to me. It's very comfortable and fits me close to perfect. I can only touch ground with the balls of my feet. I love my Monkey and the giggle factor is the best. As long as people buy and ride it for what it is and not expect more they can have fun with it. I ride mine off road and have fun with it. The suspension is lacking for off-road but my dedicated dirt bike a Honda '94 XR100 isn't much better (the joys of being short).

Shame on GoPro for not continuing or maintaining quality of product. HOWEVER, keep in mind that DJI is a Chinese brand and if you don't know their drone business is a market leader. That being said, their drones are black listed under a Telecommunications Act of (2014?) In any event all of the footage their drones and cameras record are pushed through Chinese servers as we map our entire country. Federal Agencies are not allowed to use DJI or other Chinese MFRs for drone footage by law. Consider why Huawei and ZTE are not in our mobile carriers and the government funds operators to "rip and replace" that equipment. I'm not knocking the performance and/or features of these products. I just know the path to hell is paved with good intentions. and low price!

Sounds like you have a pretty full plate, but I’m curious because I went through the motions trying to sell my 22 GT Pro to upgrade to the 24 Rally. Only received 3 inquiries from scammers so I’m working on falling in love with my GT again.
